That's a speech quirk Rin has in the original novels. She calls her teacher せんせ－ (sensee) instead of せんせい (sensei).

The light novels are still ongoing but there's been no news about the manga in months. The latest issue of the magazine it's published in came out yesterday and no new chapter once again. I wish the creators would at least say something (unless they did and I missed it).

I just got the October issue of Dengeki Maoh and I don't see a new chapter. Does anyone know if the mangaka is taking a break?

Tbf, the word Hase uses could be translated as either "beautiful" or "pure/clean" but I just thought the latter seemed more accurate in context, since she refers to Io's innocence and purity as her selling points + keeps stating that she still thinks of her as a child. Either way, yeah, she's...
