Why are they so surprised that fuldrex is focused on developing and teaching magic that anybody can use and acting as though they just found that out after going to the lectures..? They just established thatverbally in the literal previous chapter..

This is so contrived... the whole setup is infuriating. And after the shit earlier in the tunnels I don't even get why he needs ""offensive magic"" let alone why he can't use it.. so frustrating
And theres no way after all this that we'll get a satisfying resolution short of him doing another...
The teacher Ekoda gets the main character Shirasawa drunk and then rapes him in an earlier chapter. He's seen to be somewhat torn up or conflicted about it in the next chapter, and then it gets completely forgotten until now when its brought up for a quick gag or whatever.
I was hopeful this manga would actually be good, the potential for good writing really was there but at this point what are we even doing? Not only have we completely brushed past shiraswa being raped but its even just a gag now? At least Sumire's fan service was handled with some tact.
But...
Im worried about the characterization and pacing going forward. Raviel's arc was fantastic and their relationship was beautifully painted so I have some hope that we will continue to see good writing going forward. But this arc has been dragging its heels in the sand a bit.
