I was NOT expecting Lycuire to get instakilled right after getting his revenge. The visceral art of seeing him get ripped in half was metal as hell, but still, RIP to the best broomhead.
I know DL are playing for fun and letting their teammates have happy memories of playing in the final, but this would have been the perfect time to switch out the whole battery.
These last few chapters were so insightful, comedic in timing, and evocative. Despite my disfavor, It's cool that Marui finally understood what it meant to have fun and taught that lesson to the future captains.

This one really hurt my heart to read. It's only 16 chapters in, but this series is so raw and unfiltered in how it shows war. I love the grim, brutal reality, but man does it hit you in the feels.
