So if that's Shoukou's mom, then is Shouen not his dad, or is the father with "executives and politicians" in his family Shouen himself? Could explain how the cult has gained so much power across society.
No chance it's the daughter, but my worry is that Suzumura will break her cover to try and snap Kamome out of it since she thinks he's a true believer, and he'll be forced to kill her to advance in the society.
So per Ch 5, Shoukou is Shouen's successor as the head of the cult. Shouen is still alive and they know Shoukou's mother, but they don't know how old Shoukou himself is?
Since Suzumura believed Megumi would definitely be at Shoukou's birthday, Megumi was probably one of the people with the weird masks standing beside him in Ch 8. In fact, I'm almost certain the masked woman center frame on Ch 8 Page 6 is Megumi herself.
I think it has to be Katsumata, but I can't tell if he faked his death or if he's actually a ghost or something. I think Yamane absolutely thought the Friend he killed was Katsumata, not Fukubei.
Misunderstanding, he wasn't the one who seduced Kiriko, he seduced another woman and said "Friend" could probably seduce Kiriko, which is how Kanna was born.
