To the scanlator: I don't want to sound ungrateful, but you need to tone down the in-page commentary. You should only add those if they're absolutely necessary to the flow of the manga. Helpful notes, not necessary but expanding on an interesting point, can go at the end. Let me put it this way...

The artist really deserves better. Some of the art is dodgy, but mostly it's beautiful -- particularly the first scenes with Ferris. Kind of wasted on run of the mill fodder like this. I hope once this contract work ends Kobayashi Ko gets their own manga.
