For all that drama near the end, the ending itself was kind of anticlimactic. The characters were developing, the story was pulling hard with mature themes — but the ending itself felt very childish and half-baked.
Well, the axe made a clean cut — I’d even say it was like a guillotine with how clean it was. Sudden and final. At least it has a better ending than some other half-assed ones: these two confessed, kissed, and started going out.
