It looks like subject was left ambiguous in the source and wrongly translated here twice: Page 4: "Secretly... you haven't changed [...]" From the context, it really seems like this should be Sumika saying "I haven't changed." Page 7: "He's being worshipped..." I'd need to see the source, but...

If I paid to send a kid to private school, and they couldn't even be bothered to correct for a minor mistake like answers being offset by 1 place on the test paper, I'd demand a full refund. If it was a constant problem that'd be one thing, but nothing suggested he's ever had that happen before.

This is hardly limited to just Japan. I got about the same treatment in an elementary school in NA. To the teachers, the problem was me bothering them over how the other kids were treating me, and thus the most expedient method of solving the problem was punishing me till I stopped doing so.
