When I scrutinized those panels last chapter and concluded none of them reacted normally, I thought I was missing something. Turns out I wasn't; the rest are all backup sea heads for the magic one.

The world is dragging this man kicking and screaming into the spotlight of the protagonist role he was trying to set up for just about anyone else.

I know this isn't that kind of story, but he really deserves better than her.
