There was plenty of foreshadowing for something off about Poppy, like knowing how to play basketball, falling to her knees when witnessing the school burning, actually mentioning the term Futurist in passing before, etc. good to see it finally paying off.

I liked how relatively lighthearted this chapter was. For a series as grimdark as this one, having the characters focus on saving people, and actually doing so with no strings attached, is a refreshing change of pace that wouldn’t feel so good if the series wasn’t generally so dark and cynical...
So is the priest that officiated the marriage the Druid, or is the Druid the huge being that appeared behind Lucas? Or is the huge being a representation of the hive mind?
In retrospective, it’s obvious Demi was not included in this arc because she would make things too easy for the heroes...
