@Abetillo in the panel you're talking about, both speech bubbles' are Maou's and he is the only one talking. So he was saying that would be Jahy's first time meeting Zareth, not himself. He's met his father before.
Ugh, I was annoyed that he constantly ignores her wishes and uses his status to force her to do things she explicitly rejects. But it's hard to stay mad at that last panel :/ He's still on thin ice though.
Author faked us out then played it straight...don't play with my emotions like this...
I really hope he means he like likes her but I don't want to be disappointed so I'm going to assume he doesn't :/
I can't help but wonder if the emperor is just as doting with the other kids as he is with Estrella. I know she's the MC and all, but it would make me sad if the dad is significantly nicer to Estrella than he is to the others. It seems like he is, judging by what the high priest said before :/...
@deadrabbits Yeah no, that's a stupid excuse. I don't particularly care about what is in a history book since this series, from the clothes to the language to the technology to the literal magic, isn't attempting to be historically accurate at all. You can't just pick and chose what can be...
I do like the side characters but this manga is at its best when the focus is on Poemu and Tougo. I usually hate the "just kidding!" almost confession but in this case, it actually felt realistic and true to both of their characters. As he said, Tougo's never been close to a girl and seems like...
Ugh, the second lead is the emotionless yet caring man-of-few-words type...that's my exact type. I still like Hexion but I can feel the 2nd lead syndrome coming on.
Author, why make Jin the 2nd lead? Why can't they just be friends? Whyyyy
BUCCI/NASS updated this series incredibly slow from the start, didn't update for 2 months, and now are coming to update to....start drama. People should really stop supporting this group, all the scanlation drama in the otome/villainess genre always involves them.
You cannot snipe a series that...
Here's the thing: I don't think either of them are really at wrong for what they did as kids. Penelope was a starving slave and didn't want to ever go back to that life, and she said something horrible. But she was a child, children say horrible things without realizing it all the time. And...
