A more... worldly heroine would think that she's fallen for two people (it even has a TVTropes page) but it's surprising to see how someone so innocent can just inadvertently stumble upon the correct answer, but it makes a certain kind of sense.
I remember that, but Kikuru treated it so nonchalantly that I thought a stomach wound healing in seconds was normal white mage stuff rather than Maidena's talent. Brawn Golem guy was more like... 'Woah!' because she brought him from the brink of death to full HP in a matter of seconds.
I think this is the first time Maidena's talent as a white mage was explicitly shown. She's treated Kikuru before, most notably after beating Masura, healing every bone on his right side along with his damaged spine(?!). But this is the first time someone was incredulous at her ability to heal...
That would require that the Japanese be aware that other religions exist other than Christianity, and I think the closest the average Japanese are aware of muslims in particular is Mia Khalifa :pacman:
But did he say it in reply to 'Did you come here because of your job?' or to 'Let's come together next year'?
From my interpretation, his sister is needling him about the sense of distance that he's trying to establish with Ayano. Like, 'of course you wouldn't know her personal plans...
