It's wild how Part 9 , so far, really is a story of a bunch a crooks. Like the protagonists and the antagonists are all dodgy.
The romantic rival has re-entered the picture once again! I did like how while Nao was surprised, the was a distinct lack of her usual emotional special effects. Like a visual que that she doesn't feel anything special for Ritsu like she does Haruna. Great subtle visual storytelling.
That last illustration of Suguru really says it all; he becoming a hero after all, ready for action. But as one glances at Suguru's right foot they see it's been patched where a hole once was, showing he's still jank though.
Man's broke out his tux for nothing! But that glare panel on page 9 really feels like foreshadowing for the more serious and epic adventures of Kinnikuman.

Great story about, well story! Rakugo to be precise. And all the different kinds of stories that can be told, the kinds of people that are drawn to the calling of being a rakugoka. At it's heart it's about a Father and a daughter and the bond they share.
More and more our boy Suguru is collecting dubs. Guess we are slowly in the final stages of "gag manga with some wrestling" to "wrestling manga with some gags". Le sigh
What a finale to take a break on! It's been a rollercoaster of emotions for Tsugumi and Mizuno(senpai~!) glad to see this arc between these two come to a close. Eager to see what areas Minase-Sensei tackles next with her usual earnestly and humour.
