no not common, just badly written, nothing in this story is common its just a weird writers fantasy that was poorly executed... what i don't get is why the team dont tell the mangaka "sorry this is trash" or maybe help tweak it to make it a little more realistic

Yh dont forget how everyone just forgives the grape attempts, like why did the main character jump infront of a knife for someone that SA her, all take a knife for the other person that set her up to get grape or possibly die... and you had to be convinced to go to the police?... that alone...

This manga was a decent read but the main character and some of the other characters were really pathetic, like seriously... unless you are female and will just support because the main because she is a girl, I cant see anyone disagreeing with how useless the main is... hatori is a badass...
