Thanks for the TL! Guess the fort debacle is finally over. One thing that I do have to nitpick is that on the first page, the MC calls the female commander 'sir'. Other than that, pretty good job!

Oh, you might be right! My mistake I didn't realize this model existed beforehand, quite interesting That's probably why when looking at it, I thought it was a bit too beefy and bulky to be your run-of-the-mill 1911, although that might just be due to the angle

Another thing to note, a 1911 doesn't have a fire selector on the slide there. I think what they've done is amalgamate both 1911 and some Glock model into one pistol, maybe a Glock 18 slide as that's the one with a fire selector on 'em. That being said, the story concept is quite interesting...
