That's a shame but this was probably enough of an excuse for the author to tell editor-san to piss off and let them drop the played out rival plot.

It's amazing how much better this series is when the two leads are actually interacting instead of being mostly kept apart for 20 chapters. Also now that they're together I'd like conclusively state that the rivals added nothing interesting to this series.

Because editor-sans push for this slop so they can feel like they've justified their job. But since they aren't good enough writers to make things themselves they have no original ideas and can only suggest the same stock story beats.

Please god, it's been like 15 chapters since we've had the two MCs actually interact for an entire chapter. It's almost amazing how obvious it is that as soon as the trial serialization ended and editor-san got involved the story got immediately worse.

Nah, i still hate these two rivals. It's now been a dozen chapters since our leads had any real interaction thanks to them.

I'm personally boycotting any merch or releases from any of the companies that took part in this takedown. Already Cancelled preorders I had on some figures.

This series would unironically be more unique and interesting if Rua eventually apologized, matured and actually managed to win him back.

Oh boy an entire chapter without the FL and the third in a row without meaningful interaction between our two leads. It's amazing how quickly this series tanked in quality.

What a completely asinine setting.

I don't need drama, I don't need rivals and I don't need side couples stealing page count. All I want is cute ineraction between the two MCs with natural relationship development. I'm tired of these played out cliches.

Oh boy I can't wait for another series I enjoy to get dragged down by a class change introducing a bunch of new characters I absolutely do not care about. It always turns out so great.

Still waiting for the king to get the guillotine.

This is the definition of forced drama.
