Take a look at that "romance" from the director. She is also very clumsy and behaves like him. She will show him how even a clumsy person can be great. So, I think this arc is still about him. He will probably help the twins work together and maybe find his own passion. (Director or manager)
I think its the short hair friend that we see at the end. She is the real cause of everything. Maybe forced her to push Banri. Her hands are tied so she gave a hint to sensei. She mentions how he, like everyone else, abandon her as well. (No one believes it not her that's the cause of the situation.
@zhou she brought up the topic of what happened on the train to test her. Her friend knew there were 3 of them which she couldn’t know unless she was part of it.
Yea, I feel like this could go two different ways. Either she gets with the dad or the son. I feel like there was an American movie that had the same theme. The husband comes back and is the same age as his daughter.
@Tacred Actually he did. He asked how taxes work in their world and that is where you find out how she became a slave. He parents died and her aunt was taking care of her. They didn't have enough money to pay for the taxes so they(the aunt) sold her.
If your interested in this series, volume 3 is out in English. English volume 3 is actually Japanese volume 5 and 6. Picking up right after chapter 30(which is as far as the translation has gotten at the time of the writing). There are also translation notes in the back similar to what SAZ did...
