Progress is chugging along... Maybe a week or two away before ch 61.

Discord link as found on the credits page we put at the start of every chapter is still working fine: https://discord.com/invite/kb7z59F

Update: we're still alive. Just sayin' for any lurkers who check the comment section. Another chapter will be coming at some unspecified time. Sooner rather than later.

There's no version of teenage feelings that is more legit than others. Some have a very easy time sorting it out, others fully reach adulthood and are still unclear, or even wake up every day feeling different. Though is the author playing to both Rumi and Shouma fans? Yeah for sure. I'm sure...

No, I think Kikuchi will remain single, unless the series has an epilogue, in which case he might end up with Aoi. I think Akira is already spoken for by enough ships that a lot of fans would be disappointed by a blind-side.

Technically the twitter version is still operating from the father story line, since you can read it from start to finish there and it uses the original father version, not the mother version which came far later. That being said, in my head canon, volume is real, twitter is no longer true...

Overall Akira's mom is a real hero to raise Akira and largely give her a loving home. She's not really understanding her child but then that's a common thing with parents. Sure the mom could try a bit harder on that dimension but she's definitely a strong net positive in Akira's life regardless.

I saw the key chain as a poor attempt from the dad to make amends. Not knowing how to even express himself to his son/daughter, he wanted the key chain to just be in the same bag she got the pants that didn't fit (beginning chapter 53), for her to just find it without the need for any...

Go to the end of chapter 33 to see our version of the relationship chart. We go with the softer "leaves alone". And we're using the volume edition, not the twitter version, which includes the additional clarifying phrase "working at a distant office".

Flaemes, the translator, wrote on the last page "they straight up skipped two chapters bruh". I don't know what that means, it doesn't seem like the chapter numbers skipped, but I was immediately struck by how much older Miranda looks suddenly. Is the translator's comment related, or is it a...

In fiction that certainly seems true. Half of plots in the drama genre couldn't exist if people just spoke to each other.

For anyone impatient who is coming to the comments to see if we have any news for the next update: our redrawer has had a series of unfortunate events which has delayed that step in our releases, which in turn delays the typesetting. So chances that we will release on our usual monthly rhythm...

After looking up that term, I've given it some thought, and my theory about why that effect may have some foundation in truth (I mean, I could just read the wikipedia article, but don't have time for that) is that we need to project a bit of our desires onto a person, they have to be in our...
