Ooh, a girl who’s not her womanizing roommate’s type observing her doing her things while she slowly falls more and more for her and neither of them realize it? This is quite the premise, I can’t wait to see where it goes!

I’m fairly certain she’s getting worse, which is a high bar to clear in the first place. Things seem to go better for her the worse she gets, so I predict her final act before she descends into a haze of degeneracy so thick she is incapable of functioning will be the achievement of world peace.

I mean, that wouldn’t work, not just because of the inherently different perception of genders, but because the MC as a character plays into a very specific stereotype of a “young lady” that doesn’t have an established male equivalent.

Never have I been madder that a series got axed. This had everything to be something really special, and damn good realistic trans rep. I feel like even the super-rushed plot threads could have been good if they just had the time to cook, but we’ll never see the day…

I dropped this series years ago—just forgot about it—and I’m just revisiting it now. It just takes your breath away, doesn’t it? Perfect everything.
