I can’t remember if I’ve ever seen a character get hit with an attack and start showing neural issues like that. At most it’s knocked unconscious or become fully amnesiac, nothing in between like this.
I’d say it’s the opposite, his character stagnated in those 500 years and he’s having trouble getting back to being around people again. That’s why all the people closest to him keep getting upset at his too humble and laid back attitude including his wife, daughter, master, and employer
