@pihip Yog-Sothoth also has tendrils and eyeballs as a common motif in his appearance and I personally lean towards it being him as the Hounds of Tindalos are associated with pursuing time travellers (which the uncle seems to have attempted) and Yog-Sothoth is the manifestation of the space-time...
