As of the release today, the translations are 6 chapters behind (236). At the end of Chapter 233, there's an author's note saying there's about 6-7 chapters left, so yes, it's ending soon.

...is it safe to comment now? All I have to say is I think the author just completely lost interest in doing manga (or, at least their current series) and wanted to end the series asap. Their other serialized series also got an abrupt ending that was very weird.
