I don't need to know the novel. You stated that the character was a tsundere trope. You established that every commenter you saw comment on the novel was able to take it as such. I'm going off your description.

"This boy/girl was kind to me so now I'm hardcore in love with him" might be my least favourite manga cliche.

Everyone else understood that they were reading a goofy genre novel whereas you applied moral and emotional realism to a story not meant for it.

Yeah this doesn't really work for me. Way too focused on the replica gimmick, without enough character development for the journey to feel substantial. At the end of the day, the two of them dating isn't enough by itself to make the ending enjoyable.

The last chapter was well-written but I can't help but feel like the Manga ended up fizzling out. In particular, I don't really feel like Lemon's negative self-talk habits were really dealt with properly. We just kind of have to assume they won't happen again.

There are people who like characters based on whether or not they're good people, and there are also people who like characters based on whether or not they're interesting and/or add value to the story. People like me fall into the latter category.

As usual, chapters built around Hebikawa are great. Having her get taken down by Kusonoki and Moe was nice too, although this chapter again highlighted the Kusonoki issue: What Moe-chan was doing was 100% intentional. She was deliberately using her agency to drive the story forward...

If you didn't think it was a moral issue, you wouldn't be saying "coming into a series 50+ chapters in ...is shitty", because that is 100% a moral argument. And lets be real, that whole "oh it causes the series to no longer be translated" reasoning isn't actually true, it's an invented...
