I always hate these twists. Like, they frame this as if they are fighting back against an unfair father rather than trying to prevent an actual kidnapping.
I mean, even if you called the police, has she done anything really illegal? Pretty much the only thing the teach has done is prod some of their own bad habits, and the kids self destructed
"Oh shit, this guy's crazy." Also, really adding a layer of complexity here with Henry and Kalego's older brother. I wonder how Henry overthrew Kalego's father.
Almost 400 chapters later, and they've finally told us who beat Raim in the harvest festival. And it's way too cool getting to see some of the old guard here who will definitely be more important in the future. A little lore for Marbas-sensei, some insight to the big bad's father. I'm stoked.
I was re-reading the beginning because I was curious when Yamada first started liking Ichi. I figured it was 18 since she showed interest in 19, but I think this is it. This is when the ship really sailed.
Is Kalego vs. Kalego going to come sooner than I thought? I assumed it wouldn't happen until the very end, but if we're going to ramp things up, maybe show off how strong Opera actually is? They are way too good at getting me excited.
Yeah the drama feels kind of forced and dishonest. Unnecessary too since they could've just made his goals more Hachiman-like with keeping the class together. The flirting is as cute as ever though
Such an amazingly seamless way to quickly highlight most of the class members while also bringing back Nupie too. I hope we get something more focused on Elizabetta though. She's the only class member who hasn't really ever gotten their big moment in the sun yet.
