I was wondering this as well, but I know basically nothing about Japanese photographers so I have no idea where to even start looking. If anyone knows I would love to see the photo the spread is referencing!

Yeah unfortunately English doesn't have many onomatopoeia words compared to Japanese. Also looking at that panel now I'm pretty sure I forgot to touch up my placeholder lettering in that panel. I think I just wrote what's there now to test how "skritch/skrit" looked. Oh well, I'll fix it...

She's gotta invest. I mean c'mon, everyone at the tourney besides Ami/Aoi Prime was using a hitbox or a fightstick. NL spitting facts as always (about picking a hot character, not about tier lists) If the game is balanced well tierlists usually only matter at the highest skill levels. The...

She and her hot guy friend are on the left on page 34!

Thanks to this manga, last week I went out and took some photos with a DSLR (borrowed from a relative) for the first time since my photography class in high school. It was a blast, even though I mostly don't know what I'm doing. Maybe I should start saving up for a camera too...

Two things I forgot to put in the T/L notes: 1: the two songs Mimiri has playing on her phone in the car are actual songs, look them up if you're interested! and 2: I think it's now exceptionally clear that everyone is a second year when the story begins (and a third year at this point), so I've...

Yeah, if you look closely she always makes the same face she made in chapter 1 when she's shooting. You can kinda see it on page 9 of this chapter too!

SUNNY 16 will return, with a renewed focus on Niina's exciting journey into the world of insurance adjustment.

Fuck. I try to resave textless pages as .psds even if I'm not making any changes to them so I don't accidentally miss them during the export process, but I must have missed this one. I probably accidentally deleted it after combining the spread. Thanks so much for the catch. I think your...

Thanks for supporting the author! I would stop by, but unfortunately it's a long trip from my high school in Ishikawa :(

I am (vaguely) aware of Anpanman, and I totally see the head connection... but nothing else about the character, from appearance to name (Anpanman's name includes "man", while Satoimo-kun's just uses -kun) seems to really match up. Maybe we'll learn more about him if he reappears later.

Yeah, I was surprised when I got to the afterword and they said they had barely used their camera before starting on this manga. I wonder to what degree they have gotten passionate about it since then... clearly at least a little, there's some nice photos of their cat on their Bluesky.

Oopsie, I'll get that fixed.

Ah, thanks for the lead! It seems like the first 5 chapters are around on comix, but nowhere else I can find. It's a shame it's gotten almost no visibility, their work makes mine look like a speedscan in comparison, and I love their extensive TL notes - which I would highly recommend anyone who...

Not sure. The previous group might have deleted them? I don't even know who they were, just that at least one chapter was translated into English at some point. Aliens has the GL tag but actually seems to be leaning away from GL in the long run. With that said, I can't deny that there are yuri...
