Agreed, the chemistry died soon after the anime's contents and it felt like the mangaka was just going through the motions. Wonder if they ran out of ideas or just got sick of it.
"And they lived happily ever after..." A cliche worn tired out time skip ending but I get the feeling that the mangaka or someone high up was done with this title and pulled the plug on it.
