Funnily enough there is indeed a manga with that premise. It's called Welcome to Ghost Mansion and it does a great job of merging comedy with horror. Definitely check it out if you have the chance.

I agree! Having Anya make more friends with different personalities can help create more dynamics to keep the comedy,banter and plot moving; I think it'd be really interesting if one of the newer characters caught on to the fact that she can read minds. She hasn't done the best job to hide it...
