Nahhhhh. In way 2 many romances today with social out cast, mobs, unpopular mc’s, the characters or “friends” who played the sidelines when the mc was getting bullied or lonely get forgiven to often. It feels more relatable or realistic if he was actually hurt by her not doing enough as his “friend”
