This just made my week. I know this series isn't Shakespeare but dammit I know what I like and I want more of it!
Thanks for this. Really hoping this is the one that gets this series completed.

What started off as a silly little examination of why dogs are goofs has expanded into a legitimately interesting story with some "ow my feelings" moments. It's still fun though. Author-kun is cooking with this one.
I'd love to see this adapted to anime but honestly I just want to see more of...
You're not alone. I love the guards. They've got depth and character and, most importantly, intelligence and judgement. They aren't just one note existences that do the same thing endlessly like so many of the ghosts.
Also I love that they don't just go straight to annihilation unless ordered...
She's also got the ability to land from that height while carrying someone in a way that doesn't hurt either of them. Inhuman Dexterity? Gravity defying physics? Invisible air bags? Something there, too.
Either way, yeah, she can totally do combat if she wants.
Oh my word this chapter has me in stitches. I completely forgot about this character (as did the author I think) and they brought her back just for a series of hysterical jokes built on everything in the last 80 chapters. A+
