Chapter 40 (done but needs proofreading and touched up) will be released on Christmas or the day after and Chapter 41 (cleaned the text and half way translated it) will be released on New Year's Day. Chapter 40 was the most dialogue heavy chapter so far and was a pain in the ass to clear text...

Chapter 39 should be released by the end of this week so I am at least getting closer to the my intended schedule of the first Monday of the month.

I will delete the two split versions in about a week.

Probably not as my schedule makes it hard to do this. I don't get paid to do this and I have to prioritize my job over translating. That is why I am only releasing one chapter a month.

There is only one chapter released a month in Japan as well so Japanese release won't get further ahead then they already are.

Don't worry, Tired of Waiting picked up the series and will begin releases in the first week of September. In fact, I have it on good authority that they have already typed cleaned the manga and have already started translating chapter 37.

They were never introduced properly into the story. For all we know they could be significantly older than the 3 youngest siblings.

That or the author really didn't know where to take the story but had an editor that trying to get everything out of him

It didn't get cancelled it was allowed to tell the full story the author wanted to tell

I marked the page when it light novel ends and it becomes nothing but filler. Basically it ends with his wife making him Co ruler and that is it.
