This is one of the worst manga I've ever read. I can't comment on the novel but even without having read it I can hold firm by my statement. CG generated monsters being inserted, a fundamental lack of any interesting panel composition (in part because the monsters all look like shadowy messes)...

What's up with the random translator notes in earlier chapters lmao? A heads up for anyone interested in doing translation work in the future: unless it's important to the story, pulling out etymology for a character's name is a waste of time. Don't do that. Also don't isolate random Japanese...
