This is exactly how I interpreted it as well. Hence the mom’s face being blurry and her being so far away on the beach (very neglectfulFor me, her mother abandonned her in the car with the sun so that she die alone like oops it's an accident, and the people were saving her. That's how I understand it.
That's why her mother lost the right to have parenty on her daughter and now her aunt is taking care of her (there is no father anymore) and she is overly protective.
Looks like it will be tough to come out as a lesbian to her aunt...
Did you see the 82 missed calls? She clearly tried. This makes like zero sense? Did the aunt not ask where she was or who she was with? What happened etc? Give her Beatrice’s number as well and we won’t have this grounding shit
After she was actually in front of her I mean.Did you see the 82 missed calls? She clearly tried.
It absolutely was people reaching into the car to save Amy, but Amy is delusional from heat stroke, and the people are strangers, and their arms are probably moving very frantically and desperately as they try to save Amy. So even though it's a good thing, from Amy's distorted perspective it's a horribly surreal nightmare.I want to think It was just people trying to help her, not something else. Yes, I Will think that
One assumes that Amy already explained via text/call to her aunt after waking up. But it's also possible Amy lied or didn't include the full explanation... like maybe Amy said she just lost track of time and fell asleep at Bibi's, cause Amy doesn't want to get Bibi in trouble. After she was actually in front of her I mean.
