What in gods scrotum is that censor
How does shit like this even happen
The publication should have been clear on what can and cant be shown no?

Anyway who is malebulge again? Didnt we just see her kill some random thugs in a forest and thats it?
i think it's a joke putting mosaics on their clothes just to emphasize that it shouldn't be shown

Very good chapter! :win:

I think his future prediction works if he cares enough to consider the situation. I don't think he's got romance bundled up between all the plots he's weaving. And if it's a plot, I don't think it's "romance": it'd just be manipulation.

He has enough intelligence stats to tell the future - but somehow not know that a girl was flustered by him romantically? How can he tell anything close to the future if people are acting on entirely different motives and emotions than he thinks they do?
Oh, he knows exactly what's up with Bernadetta, and well, it's actually pretty complicated.

That's not what he said this chapter. He literally said "what's up with her?"
Oh you're talking about Alma. I misinterpreted what you were saying because Bernadetta is much more relevant romantically let's just say lol.

This seems to be a story aware flaw. One of the reasons his first party broke up was partly written on the wall, but he couldn't read their emotions ahead of time. Llyod and Tania had been engaging in embezzlement and gambling for a while. Then it was additionally later revealed that Tania initially had a crush on Noel and only got together with Llyod because even she understood she had no chance with Noel. It's not like that means she was a good person deep down, but if he had really wanted to manipulate her or keep the party in tact he could have had he noticed her emotions. He also wasn't able to read that Walter wasn't ready to be a seeker again after all that went down.

It seems like Noel is good at analyzing people from a strategic standpoint, but he is very far from an empath. He's still a kid and one with a pretty twisted view of the world that's kinda stunted his own development. He has his blind spots. I'd actually be super interested if the story introduced a foil character who has very high emotional and social intelligence and is thus able to read people in a way Noel cannot.

I think you are forgetting he can literally see the future through pure magnitude of his intelligence stat though. And to be able to predict the future like that, you need to know people's motives, feelings, knowledge, etc. Not to mention the same for the ppl they interact with. And so on. Extrapolated all the way out to the ppl in villages that might be able to reach the city within the time span you are predicting, having a naive kid migrate to the city and interact with someone, butterflying things.

In other words, the plot/story has told us that he knows what everyone thinks and feels. And yet he was confused and wondering what was up with her? I don't call that a story-aware flaw. I call that a plot hole.

Yeah, she's definitely no ordinary person, especially with her being casual with the resident bounty hunter(?). From the "Adventurer/Hunter" trope, there's always one thing worth noting: Just being one of them grants you a considerable boost in physical capabilities, making the difference between civilians and them rather.. noticeable, especially for more close-ranged roles.

Barehanded strength being that high makes me wonder if she's a monk, knight, or something along those lines. Looking forward to seeing her in action!

Thanks for the translations!

I know it would've been joke censored that time anyway, but was Alma choosing that outfit (and presumably getting rejected) something that happened in a previous chapter? Since she acts like it was, unless she meant she tried to choose it specifically for this party in off-panel time that we didn't see. Just don't remember that gag happening at all.

He can't. He misjudged the one seeker putting his bet on her thinking that she must be clever to get to her position. She got pretty much beaten, and then turned it around because she had an asspull powerup that needed a sacrifice. She was more reckless and brawn. (I forgot if she lost in the end)
