It's actually not as implausible as you'd think. I know someone who's been struck by lightning twice (unlucky bastard), and he mentioned you can actually feel the static buildup right before it happens, so he was aware what was happening the second time. Now, obviously this guy isn't superhuman like the Princess, so he didn't dodge it, because it's very brief, but the Princess IS, so she could feel the static buildup and then move.
