I had completely forgotten they had an active area and could not move beyond that. Have they gone back to the mirror, or are their souls still there and the bodies will come back if they move closer towards the mirror again?

Oh wait, I think i have it figured out. Given this is a comedy, they're probably inside the magic artifact, and once the monster moves forward they will respawn inside its belly and burst from the inside out, of course, naked.
