You know if i find a person boring I would've dumped them after 1 year.
Even after giving them the benefit of doubt, I'd have at least dumped them by year 3.
I wouldn't have spent 7 years with them...
I wonder what happened. Did she just see a really good opportunity? Or did she truly bear him for 7 years and then she finally broke. Why is she also talking to him like friends when they didn't end up on a good note.

Well they are still co-workers so she probably still tries her best to be at least in decent terms when in the office just to not cause problems.
Their relationship now could very well be shallow where they only act friendly to each other at work but once they leave the building they don't talk or anything.
It's a good decision since it will lessen the awkwardness at work and at the very least make it so they can still feel somewhat used to conversing in case they need to work together as a team for a project or something.
After all if they don't talk at all and they end up getting put together on a certain type of project then it would make it hard to communicate and get the job done because they haven't conversed in so long, effectively making it a big problem to work in their position and their job.

Hoho! I very much like that 'This is your body' scene a lot. It's not often 'isekai into [character] body' type stories do details like that and even having MC body react and behave somewhat differently than the MC is consciously thinking.

The hardest part of these types of stories is not getting mad when characters hate on the protagonist, it will feel unjust because he technically hasn't done anything wrong, just taken on the sins of the old character. Most of the characters does have legit reason to hate this bastard tho, dude was a menace.

The character's background seems to be all over the place, it's weird. Like he was hailed as a prodigy but then turned out to be mediocre, so why is he a big enough danger to anyone to make enemies? He isn't even in charge of his family, his half-sister is, so that should also limit how much trouble he can cause. And how is Deculein "based on the MC"?
For real, it’s a refreshing change.
