Okay, normally I’m all in on this series, but there has just been so MUCH YAPPING over the past few chapters??? So many pages/chapters for basically a minute amount of plot progression. It wouldn’t have even been a problem if it was impactful but it just feels like the mangaka is stretching pages at this point. What happened? I actually found myself skipping a bit to read ahead because a ton of what they were saying was just so unnecessary. Can’t wait to finally see some action.

Also sure, there's a lot of dialogue but it's because that's literally the bad guy's weapon, all his skills are based on talking and deception.

All MC has to do, or be told, is to take back all lent skills before a confrontation and then this guy will be powerless. Also I guess he didn't get every skill since MC could save Sword Dad with one of them.

I think MC said in the first chapter that people will loose the borrowed skills when he dies. So unless villain keeps him locked up and brainwashed, there is no long term point in skill lending. Although I wonder if people still have to pay the debt when he dies.

Koe is probably fully aware of what's going on, and she's the one who has full control over the skill lending. Plus, she could probably just tell Marz. I dont understand but doesnt the person have to state "RETURN" for MC to even collect his debt? why did his first party have to do that to return the skills but everyone else doesnt?
