It's been a long time since experiencing the main story for me, but is it correct to assume that those mysterious events at ACCA which overworked the dads so much are referring to the main story happenings?

Most of the main story took place at the end of the 99th year and the beginning of the 100th year of ACCA being founded. While there's no direct reference to any main story events as far as I saw they did mention on page 14 that the 100th anniversary of ACCA was soon which puts us around the same time as the main story. Id say it's safe to assume it's the events of the main story stressing the dads out.
