This was the worst epilogue I have ever read. Singlehandedly would have somehow managed to bring down the score/appreciation at least one whole quantity, if the ending had not already managed that itself.
Did the mangaka really think that taking all the bg's from the story and stringing them together randomly into a compilation with zero characters and dialogue, would somehow make for a good ending? Or is this the editors fault?
If I liked this sort of stuff, I would have been reading real-estate magazines for a hobby.

If it had been, then I could still have held hope that the coming epilogue was going to wrap up the half-dozen major plotlines left hanging :/
But yes, also glad that there is no april fools chapters posted outside april fools.

I knew it was april 2nd all along, but I still was wondering if this was a troll-chapter, just posted unrelated to april fools and thus in direct opposition to rule 1.3.5. But then comments page 1 was not full of shouting about it being a troll chapter and breaking the rules, so I realized it is the real deal.

It's NOT the real deal. The uploader is "crunch of potetto" instead of "church of potetto" it's an april fools chapter start to finish. I didn't check but I think it's just a collection of inbetween frames that were spread throughout the series (like shots of stuff and locations to show transition between time or scenes). It's quite elaborate actually.

It is per definition not an april fools chapter, since it is not april first today.
And if you are rather suggesting it is a troll-chapter anyway, fyi, troll-chapters are against the site's rules outside of april first.
In other words, it can neither be an april fools chapter, nor a troll chapter.
And before you claim it still is one because it was uploaded on april 1st: no, all april fool's chapters are removed from the titles at the date-shift, and added to a [year] compilation title instead. Since that was not done for this chapter, we know it wasn't one.
Yes as I already mentioned, that is what it seems to be. Honestly disappointed in the mangaka/editor for thinking that was in any way interesting as an epilogue, but not really surprised, considering how they made the end.
Otherwise the unfortunate timing might have had me incorrectly report this chapter for breaking rule 1.3.5 (by thinking it was an out-of-date troll-chapter that needed to be pinged/tagged for relocation to the compilation title), despite being a legit chapter).

It has been moved, now. It was not moved when I read it and commented. Which was decidedly not on april 1st (as shown by timestamps). Trying to retroactively time travel so you can call someone "silly" only makes you look "silly". Because there are timestamps.
Except I did account for my timezone (offsetting my clock so I was in the context of the global timezone instead) before opening up mangadex, so I could avoid april 1st entirely (yes, I intentionally avoided opening mangadex for the entirety of april 1st, GMT, except for the main page solely to cycle through what new 'adverts' we had this year)).
Not only that, I also accounted for summer time. AND for a margin in case the scheduler worked slowly (a full hour even though a couple minutes should suffice considering the relocation is a scheduled automatic script). And then I added some extra hour as margin, too, just because and just in case.
So in case you want the reply to be in the same format: "heartbreaking: user does not know comments has timestamps."?
You do realize april 1st is only 24 hours right? It is not a 48 hour day, and absolutely not a 72-hour one.

If you can't see how similar the names are, and understand WHY they're so similar on a day like April fools, then you and I were never going to understand each other. So, take care.
No I get that they were changed their name slightly for april fools, but there is no automated system in place to return group-names back to the original on the date-change (unlike the automated thingy for joke-chapters), so I had some tolerance for it still not being changed back.
But I were [implicitly] asking what you meant by the name signifying that the chapters they post being april-fools jokes as well (particularly outside of april 1st), though. Because I do not see the connection that you seem to see there.
They didn't change their name. The user that usually uploads the chapters created a new one for this chapter specifically. And regarding your reply to my comment: human error is a thing and it is now obvious something went wrong with tagging the chapter so it stayed up longer then intended. I don't even know if it's an automated system. If it is then chapters need to be flagged for cleanup and that might not have been done on time.
This must be some elaborate ragebait or engagement farming so this will be the end of it from me.
