I feel like this is going to be one of my favorite chapters. It's always beautiful how this manga shows so many people in so many walks of life and how they change in such a natural way.
Sumiyo-san had always been generous, and also slightly detached in a normal, older folks' sort of way: giving up her possessions, letting her home become others', the vibe of "watching the younger folks enjoy life." I hadn't thought much about it before, but seeing this chapter really made me appreciate this new, living vicariously for herself side of her.
