Tequila is a member of the BOHuh, what does Tequila and Suguru Itakura have to do with... idk, anything?
That's not what I'm confused about. I'm confused about how Ran asking Eri, "Isn't it about time you forgave him already?" with Eri answering, "Definitely! Not!" suddenly causes images of Tequila, Itakura, "OK", lipstick lady, and Haibara flashing in Conan's mind. Like, that's a lot of flashbacks from just that one trigger.Tequila is a member of the BO
Suguru Itakura was tasked by the BO for a program IIRC
Tequila was the guy who met him at the office...
He was confused about it too so maybe it's a plot point later? Could also be his old PTSD of folks holding phones way back when. That's not what I'm confused about. It's that how it is that Ran asking Eri, "Isn't it about time you forgave him already?" with Eri answering, "Definitely! Not!" suddenly makes Tequila, Itakura, OK, lipstick lady, and Haibara flashing in Conan's mind. It's as if I'm skipping a few pages ahead since I don't get what the setup is.
Chapter 380 you say...Huh, what does Tequila and Suguru Itakura have to do with... idk, anything?
And, does anyone remember what the "OK" and lipstick-lady-making-a-phonecall are about? Absolutely clueless about these two.
EDIT: I just needed to reread chapter 380 and everything became clear lmao
It really does feel nostalgic. I remember at this point every time I reread the chapter, I always wonder who the hell is this Akai guy. lolIt sure has been a while since the program that guy made for the BO has been relevant. I remember the first time I read that part I was at school during a break and became really curious about what it could be. Now I've been out of school for over decade...
I didn't know I needed Smug Eri, but I'm glad she's hereSmug Eri

Yeah, and to be more precise, the chapter that was originally published in 2002. Ain't that fun.Chapter 380 you say...
let me guess, it's boutta be Ran's birthday? (±2 days)
i think its more about how Ran mentions how the medicine (referring to eri comment about how she seperated to give him a taste of his own medicine) is too effective and it made him remember that hes still havent figured out about the BO and the medicine. It seemed he thought back to the program the BO wanted from that programmer and made some connection? He was confused about it too so maybe it's a plot point later? Could also be his old PTSD of folks holding phones way back when.
I'm really curious about this and decided to search for what the Japanese fans perceived. They think that Conan's flashback was triggered by Eri's cat story in connection with this panel from chapter 398i think its more about how Ran mentions how the medicine (referring to eri comment about how she seperated to give him a taste of his own medicine) is too effective and it made him remember that hes still havent figured out about the BO and the medicine. Not that unlikely when it's in the most crime-ridden town in the world, Beika.Lmao imagine doing some crime and then your bag get mixed with someone else's and it contains crime too.
