That's not what I'm confused about. I'm confused about how Ran asking Eri, "Isn't it about time you forgave him already?" with Eri answering, "Definitely! Not!" suddenly causes images of Tequila, Itakura, "OK", lipstick lady, and Haibara flashing in Conan's mind. Like, that's a lot of flashbacks from just that one trigger.

It's as if I got a few pages skipped ahead.

That's not what I'm confused about. It's that how it is that Ran asking Eri, "Isn't it about time you forgave him already?" with Eri answering, "Definitely! Not!" suddenly makes Tequila, Itakura, OK, lipstick lady, and Haibara flashing in Conan's mind. It's as if I'm skipping a few pages ahead since I don't get what the setup is.

He was confused about it too so maybe it's a plot point later? Could also be his old PTSD of folks holding phones way back when.

Probably not. It feels like Ran is implying her birthday is like a month or two away instead of a few days or weeks away.

If it does happen, Ran's birthday case is going to huge. Shinichi is coming back 100%.

i think its more about how Ran mentions how the medicine (referring to eri comment about how she seperated to give him a taste of his own medicine) is too effective and it made him remember that hes still havent figured out about the BO and the medicine. It seemed he thought back to the program the BO wanted from that programmer and made some connection?

Ahh the foreshadowing! Part of me wants to go back and try and guess what going to happen and the other part of me just wants to be surprised by the genius of a plot twist. Can’t wait for the next chapter!!
