Also, she's already been mentioned to be heavier than she looks by a lot, so, normal baby weight gain ranges are as unknown as her original weight (maybe?)

I had to look up the density of chitin (1.425 g cm−3) and even then it doesn't add up she should be almost twice as large as she is to weigh that much.

It looks like even if she does store her extra bits in hammerspace the weight is still there.
