In my opinion, his healing ability is similar to the same manga I read : Cheat Skill "Shisha Sosei" ga Kakusei Shite, Inishie no Maougun wo Fukkatsu Sasete Shimaimashita.

However, the difference is the Sage can do heal and ressurect at same time including itself BUT the other manga cant do Heal at all, just ressurect someone who already dead even really long time ago as long as their aura/soul/remnants still exist in same place (you need to die 1st before ressurect someone, any kind of injury or non-lethal damage wont applied at all)

In short, his ability is count as CURSE because no matter how many times he/she died, it wont be able to completely died (the memory is still exist even dead) like the manga titled "Shindou Yuusha to Maid Onee-san"
