I'm confused...
Where's Nijimura? Would Yume's unique ability somehow make her immune to this cult brainwashing? Would Sui have anything to do with Nijimura since she's the descendant of the founder?
Did the first minister actually punch something or was it just Sui's hallucination? I can't find what Sei meant. Also Haifu and Maa.
If it were God, Yume could still smell something bad like that time in the excavation job, no? The time Yume couldn't smell anything, from what I can recall in a second, was the missing person search in the forest.
Imagine if the series ended just like this. It's super possible and would be SO FRUSTRATING!
I want to believe the new girl didn't give up on Yume. But I also think she may be influenced by Hama. I couldn't help but think about the "opening the door" medical experiment
Perhaps, like the amusement park, this was the aim all along and this is how our girls will be reunited. Or maybe there will be a double deus ex machina and things will all turn out okay, seeing as there are far too many loose threads left, and no news of cancellation.
It would be too poetic that both main girls died in gray jobs with their goals never achieved, just like all others who died before, but I don't think the author is going for such a sad ending.

Wonder if the sui hama parallels are the authors hint that sui is not gonna abandon yume, same way hama didn't . Both have their own demons and selfishness but when push comes to shove they will do the hard thing
Hmmm, we have had parallel worlds/alternate universe before. What if this is one because they did go through the misty district before here and this is a “parallel” Yume so to say.
Or, if we go with the vibe of the series, this is the end of the real Yume, and the story will follow the “parallel” Yume, which would have similar memories, personality, and motivation.
Though, while I said all that I hope it doesn’t come true at all.
