The most hilarious part of these kinds of stories is that the audience insert actually is competent and survives these kinds of dangerous conditions, while most of the people who are self-inserting on the MC wouldn't last an hour in that kind of world. All these people that want a world shake-up apocalypse so they can have their moment to shine in the new world order, but 99.99999% of them would be the first to die.
