Honestly suprised at this point that the dad is just like that and was not manipulated by the clover person.
Thanks for the chapter!
Yeah it seems like it was mostly with how the dad was raised.

The whole situation is super fucked. I wonder though, if clover never interfered with the family, would the father be more normal? Probably not but maybe it wouldn't matter at that point.

The father is the one basically allowing the sister to live how she is as well and basically did nothing to help with his wife or daughter or son. I would say that threatning suicide for attention is worse than enabling but it's really all fucked.

And out of the whole family I'd say the mother is the one affecting Uichi's mental state the most with the father and then sister next.

I hope you forgot "s/", otherwise please do not make a new family.
Did he cause any of his family members to torment Uichi? No.
Let's get down to brass tacks. If the mom and sister were calm, supportive and reliable , good family members like him, then Uichi wouldn't have any stress at home.
And yet we're supposed to believe that HE's the real bad guy and the one to blame, not the mom for emotionally abusing Uichi and deliberately self-harming in front of him, or the sister for screaming at Uichi ?
How about the others have a little accountability for being such a bad mom and a bad sister?

Holy hell, we found the father of this manga in this comment section, 🤣

Hey, how about you go on being a "good person" and do nothing for those who are suffering around you?

After all, you're trying your hardest!

Bro is the definition of wilful ignorance, he's just ignoring things that are right in front of his face because he doesn't want to see it

You cannot be serious, if you are you're insane.
The dad is simply putting up a front of a "good father" by doing things by the definition of what a "good father" does but does not apply to the situation at hand.

Like when he gave the snacks to uichi, in his mind a "good father" would bring up snacks when a guest is over, but he sorely focused on the action of bringing snacks up it did not occur to him what kind of snack and he gave his son something that could literally kill him because of allergies.

He does not care about uichi, what he cares about is his mental image of what a "good father" is.

All of the family members are to blame, but the mom and sister only got worse because of the dads actions.

He enabled the sister by giving her money whenever she wanted and letting her do whatever she wants with no consequence. A good father would have disciplined her and punished her for what she's doing.

The mom was literally crying for help and cutting herself and he simply goes "Sounds rough, try harder!" with a smile on his face.

Hes delusional and so are you if you think he did nothing wrong.

My god, being a good person means also you know things are bad and you  help them. If you focus on yourself on being good and only yourself while everything else is falling apart, then by no means you're a good person.

In MOBA terms, if you notice one of your lanes perform worst, as a mage or a roamer or a jungler, you try your best to help them. That's how you win games mostly.

TLDR; being passive =/= being good or being nice. That's a different kind of evil.

none of what you said refutes the central fact that if the mom and daughter were more like the father then there wouldn't be any of the serious problems.
BTW , he said "hang in there" , not "try harder" . Looks to me like youo're having to spread misinformation in order to try and strengthen your case.
