The hard line that most women face with fertility is age 45. Some women can even conceive past that, so it's not that crazy to think about. Fertility issues are just as likely to be due the man's sperm, not the woman's ability to conceive.

Also, they've been trying for a few years. From context, it seems like they started trying when she was 30 or 31 and gave up when she was 40.

I don’t know if they feel like they’re in a steady enough relationship to have a child… it just feels like he doesn’t listen to others or is very empathetic. They seem like they struggle with communication but I’ll just have to wait and see…
Also for our main character it is kind of a bad feeling to know she feels like she has to carry a child and give it up (it will be biologically hers & could connect with it) because she needs the money. It would be different to me if she’s given birth before so she knew what it was like, cause some women like being pregnant but this could be a lot for her…

It's been killing me not knowing what she'll do... I almost read the novel this is based on but stopped myself because I don't want it to affect how I translate the manga version, which I'm sure will have at least a few changes.
Chapter 10 shows some early signs of her maybe not going through with the deal. If she doesn't and keeps the child, this will wind up being a very different kind of story.
