I mean I can't fault people lewding Hachishaku-sama because men in general would fantasy hooking up with a giant woman especially if they are busty. When Resident Evil 8 got released, the amount of R18 content of Hachishaku-sama spiked because Lady D drew inspirations from her. Anyways they probably going to fall for each other since they get along well as they progress in their quest. Thanks for the translations.
i feel like men are becoming freakier as time goes on, what scared some before is what will attract some ahead

Lady Dimitrescu really ruined her reputation so bad in recent years.

When you are taller than average, and you have a giantess fetish... Indeed, it's hard.
It's weird when there is a "tall woman" character in a manga, and I'm like "I'm taller than her..."

Anyway, from the credits page, the furigana for the guy's family name is "Giri", not Kiri", if what's written there is correct.

Isn't it kind of contradictory that her self-image problems come from people constantly sexualizing her yet the male character only likes her because of his fetish?
Even the artist doesn't give her a break. This woman's never gonna get her powers back. Didn't have any chance at all in the first place, not even through the 4th wall.

Not to be That Guy(tm), but it's "Hasshaku". "Hachishaku" is a misreading of the kanji that people took for correct.

Here's a video in Japanese so you can hear it.

After everything that made me mad about the final few chapters of Chieri's Love is 8 Meters Tall, I really like how this series establishes right away that Yachiru being "normal sized" is the problem that they're trying to solve, and getting her to be big again full-time is the desired end goal. It would have been all too easy to make a "softie Hasshaku" series where Hasshaku hated being big and wanted to become "normal", and I'm happy that they didn't go that route and instead go out of their way to stress that Yachiru's size is a key part of her personal identity that she laments having lost and wants to reclaim.

Notice how the people on the train at the start weren't just sexualizing her, but using that sexualization as an excuse to not take her seriously. "She's just a pervert, I bet I could take her". By contrast, even when Seiichiro views her "lewdly", there's an element of awe in the way he perceives her - he "looks up" to her in a way that others don't, and it's that admiration and respect that her body and powers respond to. The thing is though, I don't think Seiichiro himself realizes this, which is why he's so concerned about his libido making him supposedly no better than the people who are denigrating Yachiru.

I swear I've seen this artist's style before. Did he previously go by Youkihi? Did stuff like Flexible Kid, Nippon no Razoku, etc etc? If this is a purely clean manga that might make sense as to why he'd change his pen name up.

Edit: Several people in replies on Hatena and Twitter are name dropping Youkihi (陽気婢) too, but I can't tell if that's a cheeky way that Japan does it or what.
