Yeah, fixing this rotten family in a couple of chapters always seemed off, but then again Yotsuha does a lot of leg work we don't see, by rewinding over and over again, so everything falls neatly into place. That mastermind is one petty mofo though, dedicating everything to destroy a nice guy's life like this.
