I think it's starting to become obvious the Kingdom isn't the true villain, so their attitude is fairly justified. How DARE you invade our castle!? All we did was kidnap a girl with intent to murder her and summon an ancient evil!
Sorry, but I always laugh when the baddies cop an attitude for the protagonist putting up any resistance.
Okay, the iIlusion user, convinces your gun-toting psycho that he was briefly knocked off his feet and now all his companions are about to be killed by suddenly appeared enemies. Where do you think all the bullets are going to land?Guys! We are under attack while infiltrating enemy territory! I should refrain from drawing any weapons and hold your hands instead. It's safer that way!
The MC gets his injuries undone and everything reset, when he returns home, so he's fine going full action movie nonsense, and the girls all come from a world with magic, maybe levels, but definitely many examples of passive regen. So, I guess in a world where you can be alright the day after a huge golem tramples you, just because you got a good night's sleep, then you don't have to worry about your ears being blown out.I think it's starting to become obvious the Kingdom isn't the true villain, so their attitude is fairly justified.
The king is being manipulated either directly judging from how he's drawn without a face in most scenes, or is so distraught over something that it's easy to convince him (this imo) by the witch to do 'evil' things inorder to revive the big bad in return for something important (most likely sick/dead relative as usual in these stories) and most of the executives are also "good guys" in service of their king who is usually a right and just ruler, so they've not too much reason to doubt him directly, but do seem cautious of the witch. Hence, the uppity attitude of the court mage.
These "guns in a fantasy setting" manga always bother me not with the factual performance or use of the weapons, but the only one true thing that's missing is...
No one going deaf from lack of ear-pro shooting an M134 full cyclic or a 12 gauge going off right next to you 🤣
I'm not one to double up at the range but at least but some foamies in sir 😭
That would make too much senseI'm surprised that he hasn't yet thought to shoot the summoner/mage.
I know; manga logic...That would make too much sense
Haha, I'm not saying I can't suspend my disbelief, but even if we go with your theory then that means he still gets the hearing damage during the fight! He can't hear any of his harem until the next day and he returns from the gate 😂The MC gets his injuries undone and everything reset, when he returns home, so he's fine going full action movie nonsense, and the girls all come from a world with magic, maybe levels, but definitely many examples of passive regen.
