The summary already looks sloppy, lemme see if I get this... he got a gift or talent or whatever-goes that features Hearing, and people see it as useless (when logically you can use it for lots of relevant stuff, so the world is already dumb), and instead of making it logically useful (like making him train physically and become formidable BECAUSE of his enhanced hearing, or anything along the lines that makes HEARING HIS MAIN WEAPON), it's a divine ability instead that makes him rely on anything BUT hearing as his main weapon?

Anything goes nowadays for a setup huh.

It's so easy to come up with a better idea than what this manga is going for. Just having a supernatural hearing would allow one to become a spy who can easily pry into secret conversations, become a scout during wartime, a detective or anything related to investigation.

Well im going to have a field time dissecting the first chapter.

Your telling me, physical strength doesnt do jack shit and MC doesnt do training, gets tortured for several years on end only to say he has learnt magic just by hearing. And his hearing doesnt even evolve prior to his mom's death as if fucking PLOT CONVENIENCE. No, he is limited in a cell, does nothing, doesnt train, doesnt learn magic from his mom, and learns magic miraculously from hearing. And he doesnt hear about his mom's death even though his gift is literally hearing.

I guess the only redeemable factors is the writer at least explaining how the gift systems work. But even that as of itself is a logic hole as of itself BECAUSE and SOLELY because that "incompetent" or "standard" gifts can be op if trained and used in the right hands. But I mean, probably I care about that, these writers dont because oh apparently the gift system is used in order to say the MC is shit but is secretly OP after something happens. Also his dad's behavior is beyond illogical, I dont think erasing your kid the moment its born because gambling gone wrong and the gift is shit is a good thing.

Good thing it has a harem. I like harem. But not in this kind of setting. 2/10.
