Ohhh boy so the one making the chimeras wants Rudy for whatever reason. even staying away from the dungeon wasnt enough to prevent her being pursued by a tentacle chimera beast.

I wonder.......why tho? What about Rudy caught this chimera-makers attention? She wasnt the one who actually killed her previous creation and while it was her weapon that allowed her to figure out its weakness it is something the others could have figured out eventually. Its now well known that someone is creating them so secrecy is unlikely to be the reason.

EDIT: you know it occurs to me. the chimera bergin shot at took its time to stomp on and break the glowing arrow i assume he got from Rudy. I wonder if these chimera were designed to counter rudy's inventions and capture rudy and thats one of the reasons they are attacking the party since Catalina is currently using one of rudy's inventions? maybe based on scent?

regarding the octopus, my bet is that rudy herself is rather strong or doesnt even care. she made all that brutal powerful stuff through the series, worked on materials and tested tools and weapons.
she wouldnt even flinch or maybe even start to manhandle the octopus for her inspiration instead.
